Join Us for the Snorkkel Whalengton Bilingual Children’s Books Event at the Del Carmen Foundation Bingo Benefit! 💚
I am thrilled to share the excitement from our recent event at the Del Carmen Foundation, where we celebrated bilingual children's literature while supporting a wonderful cause! This nonprofit organization is dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged youth through education and extracurricular activities, and it was an honor to contribute to their mission. 🧡
This year, I had the privilege of hosting a read-aloud session, where I shared my book, Snorkkel Whalengton: Kindness. I also spoke about the importance of bilingual literature in nurturing empathy and understanding among children. 📚 As the author of this heartfelt story, I feel deeply connected to this mission, and it’s inspiring to see how stories can bridge cultural gaps.
Snorkkel Whalengton: Kindness tells a beautiful tale of friendship and compassion, and I’m excited to announce that it’s now available in English, Spanish, and Chinese at snorkkelwhalengton.com! ✨ I believe that offering stories in multiple languages can empower children to embrace diversity and foster connections with others.
In addition to reading, we engaged the kids in creative arts and crafts activities, including painting and coloring. 🎨 Watching their faces light up as they explored their creativity was incredibly rewarding. It’s moments like these that remind us of the joy and connection that storytelling brings.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Del Carmen Foundation for allowing me to be part of this event and for their ongoing commitment to spreading kindness and support in our community. Together, we can inspire young minds and cultivate a brighter future! 💚
Let’s continue to promote the power of kindness through literature and creativity. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this meaningful day!
How beautiful is this. Thank you for continuing to spread kindness and making a positive difference in the lives of others Arlene. I know schools, families and the communities appreciate you so much.
